LYRICS:
This is the tale of a small-time crook
who, one day, wanted to have a look
He got to where he improved his view
Then he lost his balance, too.

Down from a tree fell a man
his binoculars in one hand
To that limb he clinged tightly
Tighter still was the force of gravity

Can't say what he was doing in that tree
Must've needed help vertically

"My problem is I'm too far from the sky
I wanted to be able to see that guy
but with these crowds and his popularity
These peoples' backs is all I get to see."

Then came the man
from in front of those crowds
To the little man
He spoke aloud:

"I know your house, and I know your history
I know for whom you are an employee
But with the effort you've shown presently
A fair future for you is what I see!
...let's have dinner!"
