DESCRIPTION:
Kate Daisy Grant with Nick Pynn - Ding Dong The Bitch is Dead (June 2013 at The Art House, Southampton). On Wed April 16th, multi-award-winning singer/songwriter Kate Daisy Grant performs a solo set of her emotive, quirky songs on our in-house piano and will unleash several new songs from her latest Kickstarter-funded album.

Having previously been signed by Sony and independent label Telescopic Baby, Kate has been featured on BBC Radio 2, 4, 5, 6 and World Service and has written music for film including 'Mr Right'. She has guested with artists such as comedian Rich Hall, soul diva Sarah Jane Morris and Incredible String Band legend Mike Heron and regularly performs a live-looped multi-instrumental set with Stewart Lee favourite Nick Pynn. Together, they won 'Best Music Act' of the Brighton Festival 2013, have both independently won 'Spirit of the Fringe' awards in Edinburgh and are looking forward to a UK tour in 2014.
