Elder Hall - Kickstarter Pitch - Ned Ludd

Biography: Elder Hall is an exciting new project from me, Jason French, and my team at Ned Ludd, a small wood-fired craft kitchen in Portland, Oregon (http://nedluddpdx.com). I moved to Oregon 13 years ago, drawn to the natural beauty and bounty Oregon had to offer. I spent those early years working towards a dream to truly celebrate Oregon through it's food, crafts people and purveyors. The beginning of that dream was realized when I opened Ned Ludd. Ned Ludd was not a concept but rather an idea about possibility, to working with limitations, discovering and learning each and everyday. Time and time again I was amazed by not only the employees and patrons who helped us define ourselves, but our purveyors. Some we already knew, so many more found us and each and every one of them has become part of the amazing fabric at Ned Ludd. Five years later we want to continue to grow, support our producers and fully realize that dream by bringing the Oregon food community and the public together, through Elder Hall.
