This was actually the first track I made for Darksign 2 just over three weeks ago. To get started I wanted to make something akin to Kitamura and I thought I'd go for something similar to one of my favourites of hers: The Abyss Watchers. I just really love the mood of that song and I wanted to do something similar for the album. Although I have thought about the lore of this album quite a lot, I won't be divulging it much as I like to see what you guys come up with for the Souls stuff!

There is much more inspired by Kitamura and the Souls series, with my own touches as well. The album is shaping up great, in this past week I managed to write four songs and I'm really excited about it. One of the biggest differences between this and the previous album is each boss theme has a phase two and none of the tracks loop. With the first Darksign, that was something I did because of the first two Dark Souls games and how their soundtracks were released (loops I mean). Even though there will be a couple less tracks, Darksign 2 will be a bigger album for sure. Unfortunately I couldn't get Shnabubula (Samuel Ascher-Weiss https://www.youtube.com/shnabubulavevo) again for another piano arrangement BUT he did do an amazing arrangement of Dance of the Blood-Drunk which I want to get on this channel soon.

~~ Buyers purchasing anywhere other than Bandcamp - The platform I use to distribute my music to all other digital platforms other than Bandcamp, (Loudr) is migrating to a new service called Soundrop, and will not be receiving submissions from December 5th for up to 10 days. I only became aware of this recently, and because the development of my albums are on such tight deadlines I can't push the release date back to release simultaneously. I aimed to finish the album with at most a week before release to make sure I was able to get everything ready in time but there is simply nothing I can do about this. I can only hope to get the album on these stores before Christmas - I'll be trying everyday. My apologies for this, it really frustrated me to find out about this only days ago. I'll let you all know as soon as I can.
