CORE Theatrics presents William Shakespeare's Hamlet, the greatest story ever told, in a fast-paced atmosphere of shadows opens July 14th, 2011!

Hamlet, one of Shakespeare's most performed plays, tells the harrowing story of the young prince of Denmark, Hamlet, who discovers that his father has been murdered by his uncle Claudius. What's more, Claudius has married Hamlet's mother, Gertrude, and claimed the throne. After an eerie visit from the ghost of his father, Hamlet is convinced of Claudius' guilt and determined to expose the truth. LYRICS:
Lately i feel that the world is a prison
The sun has fallen and the ghost has risen
Lately my mind has grown fuzzy and hot
Questioning whether to be or not
But break my heart for I must hold my tongue
There is no stopping what has now begun
So let me speak to the yet unknowing world
Let the carnal and bloody acts unfurl

(chorus)
Thoughts remain below
Words without thoughts never to heaven go
It shall be so
Madness in great ones must not unwatched go x2

Tis very strange my will is not my own
My love is lost and my ambitions grown
I must be cruel only to be kind
Thus bad begins and worse remains behind

I walk out of the air into my grave
To think that one should be such an errant knave
In youth when I did love did love did love
My mood it was content but what of....that
What of that?

Chorus x2
