Click 2:10 to skip long intro. Muley Graves said he felt like a graveyard ghost in The movie and book, The Grapes Of Wrath, because everything around him left or died during the dust bowl. I started thinking about America`s crumbling and corrupt cites and wondered if he would stick around for that too. Anywho without further ado here`s The Graveyard Ghost.

There`s lead in the water, there`s blood in the street.
The river`s on fire, its a shameful sight to see.
The factories and churhes are boarded up and closed.
The only one left is the graveyard ghost.

This town has long since up and died.
Corruption and decay led to it`s suicide.
The steet`s are now littered with skeleton bones.
The only one left is the graveyard ghost.

It lurks with a lantern through the streets at night.
Broken bottles and dirty needles all along the wayside.
Weeping for lost and irredeemable souls.
The only one left is the graveyard ghost.

Towers still stand and pierce through he clouds.
Thunder and lightning, shake the dead in their shrouds.
Vacant and empty they stand as tombstones.
While the only one left is the graveyard ghost.

Even the rats in the alley`s have all disappeared.
The apparition groans but there`s no one to hear.
All the dead lay in rows under granite and stone.
And the only one left is the graveyard ghost.

Everyone`s gone, now forever alone.
Why it wont leave nobody knows.
It just carry`s its cross like the ghost of Tom Joad.
