"There is definitely no such thing as a perfect song. And this isn't one. But one definition of perfection I was thinking of was this - if you added something, it wouldn't get better. And yet, if you took something away, it would only get worse. Not sure if this makes the song perfect, but just impossible to improve upon.

And when I listen to Monstrous, by LA scenesters Overjoy, and trust me when I say I have listened to this song a lot, there is not one thing I would change. From the sexy as fu*k low slung groove, to the deep druggy bass, to the mysterious singer who sounds like the lesbian love child of Blondie and Miss Kitten, to the juxtaposition of the live guitar, let me just say I have had this song on repeat.
