Guitarist, and singer, songwriter, Mikial Robertson is an exciting eclectic musician. His live shows currently feature him on-stage accompanied by Jack Fields and Steve Rowland on perdussion and vocals. He creates backing loops in the moment, building and improvising as he goes. Robertson is an unique performer with a world beat fusion style. A native of Indiana, Robertson received his first guitar at the age of three, and was performing by the age of seven. He attended high school in his hometown of Anderson Indiana. He discovered jazz guitarist like John Mclaughlin, , Al Dimeola, John Scofield whom greatly influenced his music while in college (IU and Ball State) Robertson relocated to New Hampshire. and performed and studied music with John Paul Richer, Steve Hunt (Alan Holdsworth), Dave Buda (Boston Pops), Jerry Bourgonzi (Boston Conservatory), Wayne Krantz (Berklee), Josh Logan (Supernova). In 2004 Robertson released his first album "Simulator" an electric fusion album". After moving back to Indiana Mikial took up the acoustic guitar and began developing his new style. Mikial Robertson is a fascinating artist, with his amazing and eclectic guitar talents, and cool new songs, He's performing in festivals and clubs and working on his soon to be released acoustic CD.
