DESCRIPTION:
This is a mic shootout using a Shure SM57, Sennheiser e906, Heil PR20 & Audix i5. Generally speaking the miss were placed right around where the dust cap meets the speaker cone. A Presonus Firepod mic pre was used, as well as a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier and a Mesa 2x12 cab.

I would also like to add that this is a very limited way to use these microphones and is by no means a scientific way of doing things. Just a reference for how different these mics are.
