DESCRIPTION:
This joyfully cruel love song by Stephen Schwartz was cut from Pippin before the show opened on Broadway in 1972. It is sung here by Michael Rupert on the 1997 Lost in Boston IV album. Rupert was the first of several successors to John Rubinstein in the title role, so presumably Rupert never got to sing this song back then. He nails it now.
