On the group "Mercyless"
Mercyless ( not to be confused with the Swedish Merciless, even though they appeared about the same time) - this is an old death metal band from France , one of the few teams that have received recognition in the early 90 -ies of the country abroad .

The team assembled in 1987 . They rehearsed , and next year is going to enough material to record their first demo . At that time, the group consisted of four members : Max Otero ( vocals , guitar ), Stephane Viard ( guitar ), Rade Radojcic ( bass) and Gerald Guenzi ( drums).

In 1992 Mercyless contract with the label Vinyl Solutions and go into the studio to record their first full-length album "Abject Offerings". The album received rave reviews, it was compared with the albums of Pestilence and Morgoth. Album "Coloured Funeral" was released the following year, but the label Century Media, and was even better than the last .

Then comes a slight lull in the work group , but in 1996 the team returns with a new album "Cold". Copied from Dark-World.ru. At this time, there have been some changes in the composition , the group left the bassist and drummer . To replace them were taken by Pierre Lopez ( bass) and David Kempf ( drums). Also , the group came a new member , keyboardist Tom Smith. Due to changes in the composition of the sound team has gone from the traditional death metal and has become more progressive. Now they have not been compared not with Pestilence, and the Americans with Cynic and Atheist.

But this change of style not benefited the group , and many fans have turned their backs on them. But despite all this , Mercyless continued to persist, and release the fourth and final album "Sure to be Pure". There was a replacement drummer , instead of David Kempf came to Tintin. Album was worse than the previous one. The remaining fans did not like the sound , experimenting with alternative and thrash metal. In 2000 Mercyless decide on the dissolution of the group.
