DESCRIPTION:
Here I am singing a parody I wrote of the classic song by The Tremeloes: Silence is Golden. My version is called Violence is Golden and it's the theme song for a new Tech Talk episode. Also featured are my photographs of springtime flowers!
Lyrics:
Oh, don't it hurt deep inside,
to hold back the tides of rage?
Oh, don't it pain to remain calm,
when destruction would clear your head?
Violence is golden,
It's my cup of tea
Violence is golden, golden
Fills my heart with glee
TV's are cheap, they end up in a heap,
I just speed them along their way
How can I catch all the stars that fall?
So much easier to smash them and run
Violence is golden,
Don't you all agree?
Violence is golden, golden
There's just a minor fee
How many times have I lost my mind?
Should I find it or should I keep cool?
And if I tried I know you'll say I lied
Mind your business, don't hurt me, you fools
Violence is golden,
It's my cup of tea
Violence is golden, golden
Fills my heart with glee
Violence is golden,
There's just a minor fee
Violence is golden,
There's just a minor fee
