Widjoyono Guitar Taifun! My new offset guitar with JM style body shape and P90 pickup.

Hey guys, this is my custom offset from Widjoyono Guitars, Indonesia. It's based on JM style bodyshape with custom features. The story is I really love offset guitars especially JM and Jag shaped but didn't really bond with it. The switching, bridge construction, the tuning flaws and the glassy sound didn't quite right to my ears. So I decided to go full custom.
Luckily Wahyu, the owner of Widjoyono Guitars is real great guy to work with. I wanna go with 2 soapbars and 3 way switch, single volume and tone knob tele bridge. The main idea of this guitars is to be dead simple, no hassle. Contrary to it's original design. I'm so happy with the result. The neck feels great and the finish is outstanding.

The only thing that bothering me a bit is the pickup. The stacked P90 is not bold and beefy enough to my taste. I lookin towards Bareknuckle, Lollar or Fralin P90 for more warmth and fat. But that's for another time, maybe early next year. For now I'm in my honeymoon phase. Last week I played 3 gigs with it and so happy with the result. So I'm just gonna enjoy it for a while now..
