The Four Seasons "Marlena" - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jun 29, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
In June 1963 the Four Seasons released "Candy Girl" which became a big hit for the group. Here is the B-side, "Marlena", written by group member Bob Gaudio. "Marlena" reached #36 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and was included on the album, Ain't That a Shame and 11 Others. Originally released on Vee Jay Records and available on CD on Curb Records. It can also be found on CD on Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons Anthology on Rhino. With all the attention on the new Jersey Boys film and success of the Broadway show, it's good to revisit what made the group's sound so special.
