Eva Simontacchi studied music and voice at the NAM in Milano, and at the SMUM in Lugano (Switzerland) with Anna Bakja. She is a Vocal Power Academy certified instructor. Her training includes Master Classes, workshops seminars and conferences held by some of the most reknown singers or voice experts such as Maria Pia De Vito, Laura Fedele, Michele Hendricks, Prof. Franco Fussi, Phil Minton, and many others. Among the educators with whom she studied during Master Classes or Courses are: Elisabeth Howard (Vocal Power Academy, L.A.), Mary Setrakian (Black Nexxus, N.Y. and L.A.), jazz legend Sheila Jordan, Jay Clayton. Se also studied stage behaviour ortophony and phoneticsand diction, and she studied classical piano with Dorothy Mae Charles and Irma Pandolfi.
Eva writes songs and lyrics in English, and is a S.I.A.E. member. As far as her blues and gospel training is concerned, she had the great opportunity to absorb and learn a lot from Italian blues singer Angela Baggi, with whom she collaborated for years singing all the background vocals in her U.G.P. Project.
She has been the vocalist of the Enos Patracchini Big Band for seven years, until the Maestro passed away a few years ago.
Eva Simontacchi is the leader of the "4 Heaven & More" vocal sextet (which is accompanied by piano or by a trio). "4 Heaven & More" perform gospel music, jazz standards and pop evergreens with original arrangements. Their single "Oh Happy Day!" (Ar2rec) has been broadcasted by some of the most prestigious radios in Italy - Radio Monte Carlo, RTL, Studio 105, etc.
The new album of "4 Heaven & More", "Our Christmas Songs" will be issued by Ar2rec around the month of September 2007.
Eva Simontacchi is head of the Voice Courses at the Accademia Vivaldi in Bollate, Milan. She organizes workshops, seminars, Master Classes and conferences and you can find out what's going on by visiting her official website.
Eva personally holds Master Classes of Vocal Technique, of American English Diction for Italian Singers, Workshops of Stage Behaviour and many others.
She mostly sings jazz, acoustic, or with a trio or quartet whan she's not singing with her Big Band.

Eva Simontacchi si diploma "Strumentista Esecutore di Musica" in Canto Moderno e Teoria e Solfeggio presso la N.A.M. di Milano, e il suo percorso formativo include corsi presso lo S.M.U.M. di Lugano con Anna Bakja, e la frequentazione regolare di seminari, conferenze, laboratori e Master Class con vari docenti italiani e stranieri tra cui Maria Pia De Vito, Laura Fedele, Michele Hendricks, Prof. Fanco Fussi, Phil Minton, e molti altri. E' una istruttrice autorizzata e certificata del metodo Vocal Power di Elisabeth Howard.Tra le docenti e cantanti con cui ha studiato e studia tutt'ora regolarmente figurano: Elisabeth Howard (Vocal Power Academy L.A.) , Mary Strakian (Black Nexxus N.Y. e L.A.), Sheila Jordan, Jay Clayton. Ha approfondito aspetti riguardanti il comportamento scenico, ortofonia, fonetica e dizione, e ha studiato pianoforte classico con Dorothy Mae Charles e Irma Pandolfi.
E' iscritta alla S.I.A.E. e scrive testi in inglese, essendo perfettamente bilingue, oltre a comporre melodie.
Per quanto riguarda la sua formazione blues e gospel un grande riconoscimento va sicuramente ad Angela Baggi, con la quale ha collaborato dal 2000 all'interno dell' Underground Gospel Project di cui è leader.
E' stata la vocalist della Enos Patracchini Big Band per sette anni fino alla morte del Maestro, che desidera ricordare con tanta stima.
Eva Simontacchi è leader del progetto "4 Heaven & More", sestetto vocale che esegue brani gospel e pop rivisitati con arrangiamenti sia musicali che corali del tutto originali. I "4 heaven & More" sono usciti con un singolo contenente vari remix nel mese di novembre 2005, del celeberrimo "Oh Happy Day!" riarrangiato in chiave del tutto originale. Questo singolo ha goduto di parecchi passaggi radiofonici sia nel 2005 che nel 2006 da parte di emittenti quali RTL, Radio Montecarlo e 105.
E' in preparazione il nuovo album dei "4 heaven & More", "Our Christmas Songs" che uscirà per il Natale del 2007.
Eva Simontacchi è Direttrice dei Corsi di canto presso l'Accademia Vivaldi di Bollate (Milano) e insegna tecnica vocale. Organizza Master Class e Laboratori o conferenze sui quali potrete essere sempre aggiornati visitando il suo sito.
Tiene lei stessa master class e laboratori concernenti: la tecnica vocale, l'interpretazione, la dizione e la pronuncia americana, il comportamento scenico.
