MARK KELSO is one of the kings of the cats and is to the Toronto drum community what soccer is to Brazilians: you can talk to Toronto pro drummers about whatever subject but pretty soon they're gonna go "That's nice. NOW CAN WE TALK ABOUT KELSO ???" I loved and respected him a ton before I did this interview. Now I love and respect him WAY more. The spearhead and the shield, he brings chameleonic superabundance to the craft and lives with a wise heart. The man is a treasure. Youth talks, age teaches.
