Mario Pelchat partage sa voix chaleureuse avec le public depuis 30 ans. En participant au défi En Action sans Audition qui consiste à vivre une perte auditive simulée, il a subit un choc important. Il a constaté combien il lui serait difficile de bien performer s'il vivait tous les jours dans cette condition. Étant même incapable de terminer la chanson qu'il interprétait, Mario Pelchat nous incite à faire attention à notre audition et il en prend bonne note pour lui-même.

À propos du Défi en action sans audition!

Au Québec, 1 personne sur 10 souffre d'une perte d'audition. Pour 700 000 personnes, c'est un défi quotidien.

Des célébrités vont le relever durant 30 minutes. À l'aide de silicone, nous avons simulé une perte auditive d'environ 40 décibels dans les oreilles des participants. Nous leur avons ensuite demandé de procéder à leurs activités régulières.

Mario Pelchat has seduced the public with his warm voice for 30 years now. As he experienced the «En Action sans Audition» challenge which simulates a hearing loss, he was chocked. He realized how difficult it would be for him to perform his art if he suffered this condition on a daily basis. As it became even impossible for him to finish the song he was interpreting, Mario Pelchat strongly invited us to take good care of our hearing as he will certainly do for his own.

About the En Action sans Audition challenge!

One out of ten people in Québec suffer from hearing loss. It's a daily challenge for 700,000 people.

For 30 minutes, several celebrities will experience what it's like to lose some of their hearing. We filled the participants ears with silicone to simulate a hearing loss of approximately 40 decibels. We then had them carry out their activities as usual.
