italian bio: Nato a Napoli nel 64 da padre

americano e madre italiana, Marcello dimostra fin da piccolo attitudini

musicali partecipando a concorsi per bambini portando a casa anche qualche

vittoria. Adolescente, inizia a creare e a collaborare con molte bands

garage partenopee (tra cui i

BISCA-WHALALLA-WHALALLA).

Nel 1980 è presente nel disco PASSAGGIO DA ORIENTE di Tullio De

Piscopo in cui duetta con MORY KANTE nel brano Radio Africa; questa

esperienza lo porterà in tour sui palcoscenici con Tullio De Piscopo per ben

10 anni.

Nella storia di Marcello c'è anche l'avventura teatrale, in qualità di "cantattore"

con Tato Russo in una commedia musicale proposta in molti teatri

italiani; tornando alla musica, ci sono altri due anni di tour con

Tony Esposito.

La musica per Marcello è anche innovazione e sperimentazione, ed è per

questo che non si tira indietro quando molti DJ's campani in ambito

Dance-house-Pop and Chill Out music chiedono di "prestare" la voce e

contribuire alla stesura di alcuni progetti, grazie ai quali saranno

riscontrati anche discreti successi all'estero.

Nel 1995 fonda la Marcello Coleman Band.

La band non è un punto di arrivo ma anzi, segna per Marcello una vera e

propria partenza che, dopo anni, gli permette di scrivere e registrare un

primo MiniCD dal titolo RENA NERA. In "Rena Nera" si

fondono le atmosfere Pop Partenopee con il ROOT's Reggae, creando un mix di

sonorità e melodie giudicate dai critici nuove e accattivanti.

Il MiniCd, fa conoscere Marcello anche in altri ambiti e gli permette di

lavorare anche in clubs ed essere presente in molte rassegne musicali

campane e nel resto del sud.

La poliedricità artistica di Marcello non si ferma qui infatti, tra uno

show e l'altro, ha avuto anche alcune esperienze televisive come "cantante

di strada" nella fiction RAI "Un posto al sole". Intanto

l'esperienza e la voglia di "emergere" che cresce sempre più, porta Marcello

a collaborare scrivendo e cantando con RENZO ARBORE e L' ORCHESTRA

ITALIANA per il disco SUD, in cui si fa notare con la sua voce "caraibica"

nel brano Cocorito. Collabora con

DJ Miele (conosciuto nel mondo breakbeat come DJ Madox) ed anche con

i rappers de LA FAMIGLIA nel loro ultimo lavoro " Pacco".

Per un anno scrive e canta jingles per

Radio Ibiza e

Kiss kiss Network

e collabora con musicisti Jazz and Blues napoletani come MIMMO

LANGELLA nel suo album di esordio"The Other Side"; per questo

album Marcello scrive e canta il brano "Step In The Circle"

.Nell'album del bassista funky-jazz GUIDO RUSSO "Music for images"

Marcello scrive e canta " Tomorrow".

Attualmente, sono molti i progetti che lo vedono

impegnato in giro per l'Italia:

- la promozione dell' album "NAIF":

NAIF è il primo vero album di Marcello Coleman, fatto di 12 brani in cui

concretizza le esperienze di tanti anni di lavoro.

- la partecipazione nel secondo album dei

NEVROTYPE

capitanati dal DJ Franky B "Saudade Robofunk ", in cui

Marcello scrive e canta 4 brani e molto altro ancora.

- è nelle charts radiofoniche nazionali e internazionali con il brano

shows musical inclination in first age challenging in children's singing

contests and winning sometimes.Many garage bands (

Bisca-Whalalla).

In the 80's the record "Passaggio Da Oriente" by "Tullio De Piscopo in which

he duets with "Mory Kante" in the track "Radio Africa" with it

starting with Tullio 10 years touring through europe.

The story goes withTheatrical adventure as acting and singing in a "Tato

Russo" musical comedy.

Back to the music: 2 years touring with the percussionist "Tony Esposito"

Innovation and Xperimentation makes him lively collaborate with the neapolitan

DJ's in Dance-house-Pop and Chill Out music with some of discreet success.

1995 he founds the "Marcello Coleman Band" and after years writes a

produces a 5 tracks mini-CD called "RenaNera" a meltin'

of real partenopean pop and roots reggae.A point of start.

He is a street singer in the TV

fiction "Un Posto Al sole". In the "Renzo Arbore e l'Orchestra

Italiana's album "SUD's" Marcello sparks in the latin song "Cocorito".

Works with the rappers "La Famiglia" in their late job "Pacco".

For a year writes and sings jingles for "Radio

kiss Network.

Lively performs with Jazz and

Blues musicians.

In the dèbut album of guitarist "Mimmo Langella" "The Other Side" Marcello

writes and sings the tune "Step In The Circle". In the latest album of the

le rootz reggae.

Cela fonctionne pendant deux années avec les pupilles de l'école située

"BORSELLINO" dans (Na) une de théâtreux musicales se déplace et cela fonctionne

dans les clubs et les cloches de revues de musical et dans le reste de l'Italie.

An peux de la télévision comme le " chanteur de la route " dans la fiction "

Un posto al Sole".

D'une autre le disque et avec de RENZO ARBORE et l'ORCHESTRE ITALIEN dans

lesquels ils attirent l'attention dans le chansonne Cocorito.

Collabore avec les Rapper De LA FAMIGLIA dans leur dernier travail

Pendant 1 année il écrit et il chante des tintements réseau pour baiser par Radio IbizaKiss kiss Network
