He was born in Naples on August 12, 1964. He begins at an early age to be emotionally captured by music. At about 14 years old is when he perceives what could effectively mean living in the universe of never-ending emotions. This perception arrives for the simple fact that in those years (approximately 1978), Frank Iengo begins to play the guitar; an instrument that he has never abandoned and it will be his true and only passion.
During his career, Frank Iengo has participated in several television shows such as, BUONA DOMENICA, DOMENICA IN, ROXY BAR, and HELP. He also contributed his talent in Live Events with Enzo Avitabile and I Bottari di Portico, Vito Mercurio (collaborating with Pino Daniele, Giorgio Gaber, Fausto Leali), Enzo Gragnaniello, LA FAMIGLIA (Neapolitan Hip-Hop band), and SURFERS. Frank Iengo's first musical production came with Paradise Island, a single from the compilation album, SURFERS from Undiscovered IBIZA. After approximately a year from the debut of the first single, the Surfers produce the album Indigenous Legend, representing an exciting journey through apparently far musical atmospheres joined by Western sounds guided by spirituality, where Frank has participated with the production as composer of the melodies of the tracks, The Wave and Roots, composer of the agreement of Tea Party in Bombay and also as guitar player for the track, In My Soul and Runnin'. Another important feature has been collaborating with LA FAMIGLIA, one of the top Italian hip hop bands that released an all Neapolitan album titled, PACCO. In this album we can find Frank Iengo on three tracks: Suonn', Fore and Dimmi di Si, which have been composed with the other members of the group. In the tracks Smog and Pe Sord, he has only been involved as a guitar player. The production of Saudade Robofank, Frank has also collaborated with the project NEVROTYPE, in which Franky B, M.C LMD and the singer Marcello Coleman, who has brought to the fruition of this album, and was supported with great enthusiasm from the society of video productions ABSTRACT GROOVE. The musical genres that influence Frank Iengo are various and go from legendary soundtracks from symphonic music to jazz (an emotional attachment) to FUNK, to old DISCO music from 70's/80's, to nowadays' HOUSE music. Only with HOUSE music, Frank Iengo begins a new and exciting journey and starts to perform at various clubs such as: Millenium in Naples, Alpheus in Rome, Hollywood in Milan, and he is still productioning. The house productions include the project AGUADULCE (2004), La Playa- a Latin house signed by Frank Iengo & Marco Corvino on NET'S WORK INTERNATIONAL label. In 2006, DYNAMICODE is released, a new project of Frank Iengo featuring Marco Corvino, with the track Sun City, inspired intentionally by the golden years of great dance music from the 70's/80's. After the release of Sun City, always under the name DYNAMICODE, he was commissioned by NET'S WORK INTERNATIONAL to remix You Dropped a Bomb on Me. In the year 2009, an Electro House track was released entitled Open Up, in which he has collaborated with Dj Jean and the singer Rose Marriott. In the year 2009, Frank Iengo also made the remix of We've Got Love for the album Dizko by LEMON.
