~ Living History of the Bushwacker's took place on Lexington, Missouri's Main Street. Two historic reenactments took place on this sunny and hot 18th of June Day. Robert Maupin, Family and Friends from the Big River Ranch hosted the event: http://bigriverranchtrailriding.com/

Many of those who took part are direct descendants of the Bushwackers.

Lexington is rich in its history. The Civil War Battle of the Hemp Bales was fought here. For those following Hemp History's trail, someday visit Lexington's Historical Museum. If Main Street could talk...
