LUCA SCORZIELLO - PERCUSSIONIST Biography
-Percussion and arrangers Rhythmic –
Kicks off at the age of only twelve years of musical activity Scorziello Luca, who began playing the drums in formations that suggest repertoire of light music, Italian and international. After a few years, in 1995, the love for percussion: he joined the group Kalavria ethno- music, with which it comes in the '96 finals of the national selections of "Una voce per Sanremo”. In the same year the debut in theater, at "Vittorio Emanuele” of Messina, the "Brutus", directed by Ninni Bruschetta and with the same cast will stage the most important theaters in Italy with the play "Julius Caesar", resulting from the been wide criticism from the national consensus. In '98 is working at the musical show "Snow Dreams" by Contempo Cinzia with music by Catherine Pesti.
After obtaining in 1996 the certificate “Percussionist” at the school Percussion "Timba" in Rome with teachers Roberto Evangelisti and Paulo La Rosa, feels the need to broaden his knowledge and began to travel: 1999 - Cuba - it is perfected in the Afro-Cuban techniques under the guidance of Jose Quintana Changuito Louis, participating in the meantime a number of national and international seminars with the likes of percussionists Trilok Giurtu and Luis Conte, specializinginpopmusic. 2000 - Japan - to Hiroshima, along with singer Angelica Sepe, on the occasion of the Buddhist temple of Hope Colle
2001 - Brazil - Rio de Janeiro - live there for almost a year and studying to perfect his technique with Marcelo Costa (Caetano Veloso) and Ramiro Mussotto (Daniela Mercury).
2002 - Taiwan - into a triumphant tour with soprano Cecilia Gasdia and Barbara Buonaiuti, voice soloist of the Orchestra Italiana Renzo Arbore. Following the

- BIOGRAFIA-
LUCA SCORZIELLO: Percussionista e arrangiatore ritmico, inizia appena dodicenne la sua attivit� di batterista, in formazioni con repertorio di musica leggera italiana ed internazionale. Nel 1995 si fa vivo in lui l’interesse per le percussioni ed entra a far parte del gruppo etno-musicale Kalavria con il quali nel '96 partecipa alla finalissima delle selezioni nazionali di “Una voce per Sanremo”. Sempre nel '96 debutta nel lavoro teatrale "Brutus" per la regia di Ninni Bruschetta presso il teatro "Vittorio Emanuele" di Messina e con lo stesso cast del "Brutus" con lo spettacolo "Giulio Cesare" nei pi� importanti teatriitaliani,ottenendo larghi consensi dalla critica nazionale. Nel '98 collabora allo spettacolo musicale "Sogni di neve" di Cinzia Contempo con musiche di Caterina Pesti. Ha conseguito nel 1996 l'attestato diPercussionista presso la scuola di Percussioni Timba di Roma con gli insegnanti Roberto Evangelisti e Paulo La Rosa. Nel 1999 approda a Cuba dove si perfeziona nelle tecniche Afro-Cubane sotto la guida di Jos� Louis Quintana Changuito. Nel 2001 si trasferisce per quasi un anno a Rio De Janeiro in Brasile dove studia per perfezionare la sua tecnica con Marcelo Costa(Caetano Veloso) e Ramiro Mussotto(Daniela Mercury).Partecipa in diversi seminari nazionali ed internazionali con percussionisti come Trilok Giurtu e Luis Conte dove si perfeziona e si specializza nella musica pop. A Roma svolge la sua attivit� di docente lavorando presso la scuola di musica CIAC e di turnista in studio di registrazione RCA,BMG,EMI, Collabora con diverse scuole in tutta italia dove svolge diversi stages e seminari. Vanta numerose collaborazioni musicali discografiche e live con gruppi e cantanti nazionali e internazionali come: Tamburi Do Brasil, Rossana Casale, Dirotta su Cuba,Travatura, Eugenio Bennato, Quarta Aumentata,Edoardo Vianello,Cecilia Gasdia,Samingad,Amedeo Minghi,Solomon Burke,Toot’s Thileman,Gianni Morandi,Randy Crawford,Lionel Richie,Josh Groban,The Corrs,Dionne Warwick,Noa,Sergio Cammariere, Lauryn Hill, Pino Daniele,Claudio Baglioni,Loretta Goggi. Nel 2000 � in Giappone ad Hiroshima con la cantante Angelica Sepe Nel 2002 trionfale tournee a Taiwan con il soprano Cecilia Gasdia e Barbara Buonaiuto voce solista dell'Orchestra Italiana di Renzo Arbore. Recentissimo � il suo disco di world music Mare Nostrum colonna sonora dell' omonimo spettacolo teatrale con il primo ballerino del teatro dell' opera di Roma Gianni Rosaci.
