MCing for the last 11 years in many different areas off music, from Hip hop, Drum and Bass, Breaks, House, Electro, Trance, Rave, Hardstyle and live bands to hosting large dance party's such as Utopia, Godspeed, Manic, Future music festival, Thirst and Two tribes.
There is no other MC in Sydney that does as many gigs to as many different styles of music as MC Losty.
His name is recognized in any part of the industry under any musical genre as the only man to survive the test of time. Losty is seen as a heavy weight amongst his peers and is trusted and respected as the man to have on the mic @ any event or club night big or small.
Touring to every state in Australia numerous times with many different acts from solo shows to DJ/MC slots with some of Australia best DJ's and with his live band THE HAVKNOTZ, Losty has built a strong name and solid reputation Australia wide.
Playing in supporting act slots for the likes of The Prodigy, Armed Van Helden, Infected Mushroom, Method Man & Redman, Obi Trice, Scribe, The Pharcyde, The Crystal Method, Cash Money, DJ Scratch, Bliss N Eso, LTJ Bukim and MC Conrad, DJ Craze not to mention being asked to MC for UK Drum N Bass Godfather Goldie (at his personal request) Losty has shared the stage many a time with the leaders and legends of the many different styles he's capable of MCing to as well as festival slots at Sydney's Big Day Out 4 times.
In the studio Losty is an accomplished artist singing a worldwide publishing deal with Albert's music (Home to AC/DC).
Securing "Time to shine" a track lifted of His 1ST Solo EP has been used in and for the movie sound track for the film "48 shades".
He has collaborated with legendary Midnight Oil drummer Rob Hurst on his solo LP and Rob returned the favor in 2009 contributing drums to THE HAVKNOTZ EP and Album.
Losty has won the "Rhyme n Reason" magazines big beat competition, with 1st prize a beat from American producer Chops. CHOPS has made tracks with Ice cube, The Game, Kanye West, Snoop.
Losty received a Chops beat to add to his 2008 solo Album "Roll with the punches"
Losty has also won several band comps with his former bands and several freestyle battle comps including a nova 96.9 title, 1 Nu Func Title and 7 Good foot titles.
Losty has also produced 2 highly acclaimed underground mix tapes and appeared on numerous ozzy hip hop tracks and mixtapes as a guest artist.
Losty has just completed THE HAVKNOTZ EP Music_life_pain featuring ILL BILL (LA COKA NOSTRA) AND Rob Hurst (Midnight Oil) and is currently in the studio record the HAVKNOTZ ALBUM.
