Lonesome River Band, who received the 2012 IBMA instrumental recorded performance of the year award, performs "Am I A Fool" at this year's Fan Fest in Nashville.

One of the most respected bands in bluegrass music, Lonesome River Band celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2012. The same year, the band received the IBMA instrumental recorded performance of the year award for the song "Angeline the Baker." In addition, Lonesome River Band made an appearance and performed with Steve Martin on a 2011 episode of "The Late Show with David Letterman."

Band members include Sammy Shelor, Brandon Rickman (lead & harmony vocals and guitar); Mike Hartgrove (fiddle); Barry Reed (bass, harmony vocals); and Randy Jones (lead & harmony vocals, mandolin).
