The charm and grace of Chinese traditional instrumental music interpreted by Liu Fang on pipa (Chinese lute or guitar) with four strings and guzheng (Chinese zither or harp)with 21 strings spanned over movable bridges.

Liu Fang has achieved international reputation for her masterful and deeply spirited playing of Chinese pipa and guzheng music from the traditional Chinese classical repertoire.

The video clip is an extract (4min.) from a documentary by CBC TV (BravoCanada) broadcasted on January 12, 2008, 8:30pm about a collaboration ("The Long Song Project") between three world class musicians. In this clip, Madame Lorraine Chalifoux, highly-respected producer of Radio-Canada for traditional and classical music talks about Liu Fang and her music.

About the music in this video:
The guzheng solo is an adaptation of the traditional guqin (古琴) solo "Three variation of plum blossom";
Pipa solo is an extract from the "King Chu doffs his armour".

2008年一月十二日晚八時半: 加拿大電視台BRAVO頻道(綜藝)播出有關劉芳與倆名世界著名的音樂家合作的紀錄片。紀錄片長度為一小時。
在這個錄像裡劉芳先演奏了古箏獨奏曲, 由古琴曲改編的傳統古曲《梅花三弄》片斷,後演奏了琵琶獨奏曲《霸王卸甲》片斷。都属于中国传统文人音乐。還有加拿大國家廣播電台音樂制 作人夏麗芙女士的評論。
