The great percussionist discusses how rhythm sections work together to support a soloist.
Special guest Mulgrew Miller joins Mr. Nash for a demonstration of comping. Note: Neither musician solos here in this demo, instead creating background for a non-existant soloist in order to show accompanying musicians something about the fine art of comping.
