DESCRIPTION:
Massada is een Nederlands-Molukse band, opgericht in Huizen in 1973, die in de jaren '70 en '80 van de 20e eeuw enkele grote hits scoorde in Nederland. Oorspronkelijk, en in een iets andere samenstelling, heette de band The Eagles[1] tot de naam in 1974 werd veranderd in Massada.

Massada is a Dutch-Moluccan band named after the Jewish town long besieged by the Romans. The members combine their Moluccan heritage with Latin-percussion rhythms. The line-up has changed through the years with lead singer Johny Manuhutu being the sole constant member.
