The LATIN DANCE BAND

(The) Latin Dance Band - from Aarhus/Copenhagen, Denmark - plays salsa and latin-music inspired by the new wave from Cuba and Latin America; Salsa, timba, son, chachacha, rumba, reggaeton and more!
In 2009 LDB released the cd: "Salsa paa dansk/Salsa in Danish/Salsa en Danes", that contains salsa-latin-songs in Danish and Spanish.
The Danish Critics was enthusiastic and gave LDB fine words for the cd!
All songs composed by members of the band except for one song co-written with the fantastic, Cuban composer Giraldo Piloto (Klimax)!

LATIN DANCE BAND PÅ DANSK: Latin Dance Band er et af Danmarks førende salsa-bands og har - gennem 10 år - spillet rundt om i landet på spillesteder, festivals, gymnasier, skolekoncerter, firma-events m.m. Vi arbejder bl.a. med at "oversætte" salsa-musikken så danskerne kan forstå hvad der foregår - Både TEKSTLIGT men også MUSIKALSK - Bl.a. laver vi salsa-numre på dansk - L.D.B. havde 3 dansksprogede numre på bandets forrige cd fra 2003 ("Movimiento").
Latin Dance Band udgav i foråret 2009 nyt album: "SALSA PÅ DANSK" inklusive hits som; "KARAMELLER", "BABY JEG KA' LI' DIG", "LÆKKERMÅS", "FREJA DANSER", "REGNDANS"(Salsa-version) m.fl. Albummet er blevet spillet pænt på DR P4 og på lokalradioerne over det ganske land.
