The revelatory Thomas Abban reprises the role of Muddy Waters performing his classic song Mannish Boy in this tribute to The Band's farewell concert, immortalized in Martin Scorcese's documentary The Last Waltz, one of the greatest concert films of all time. The annual tribute at the Cabooze in Minneapolis is led by the just-for-this-occasion supergroup Big Pink , which each year enlists a number of other great Twin Cities musicians (including the legendary Pat Hayes here on harmonica) to recreate the legendary guest appearances made during the original concert back in 1978 at San Francisco's Winterland Ballroom.
