Alone" is the first single from Downtown Los Angeles based artist Rich. "Alone" was produced by Lars Stalfors who is known for his work with Cold War Kids, Matt & Kim, Surfer Blood, Deap Vally and Mars Volta. The session was split between the Cold War Kids space in San Pedro and east side recording studio, Infrasonic. Forgoing programmed beats and heavy synths, the three minute pop song (reminiscent of 90's New Order) leans heavily on simple guitar lines, understated melodies, baritone vocals and acoustic drums.
