Located in East Los Angeles, Infrasonic is a 2" 16/24 track classic analog recording studio, simultaneously outfitted with the best of today's digital audio technology. Our staff engineers have a broad background in all types of music and sound design, ranging from rock to punk and classical to jazz. We have been on both sides of the microphone for a combined 40+ years experience. Our arsenal of knobs to turn along side our creativity enables us to provide a unique approach to each project and surpass our clients' expectations.

We have created a custom facility that not only exceeds our goal for acoustic response but represents our aesthetic for visual influence in sound as art. We have taken every measure to make our space into a home away from home, still honoring the demands of a professional facility.

About the Engineers at Infrasonic Sound

Jeff Ehrenberg and Pete Lyman are not comfortable rattling on and on about their own talents or accomplishments as engineer/producers. While some might commend this modesty as a central pillar of the necessary temperament of an engineer, others, perhaps hoping for three murderous, gun toting mad genii in the Spector mold, may suspect them to be socially inept, half-android tech nerds who hide behind hi-fi jargon and long, thick vintage microphones to mask their ineffectiveness and terror of any phenomena that can't be digitally quantified.

Let us attempt to settle this matter.

While these three chaps are obviously well-versed enough in the world of audio-recording technology to tech-talk your ear into a waxy trance if you give them half an opportunity, a noteworthy fact that sets them apart from the seething hordes of recording school alumni is that they are all three in cool bands that embrace the spirit of charismatic and artistic risk.

If it's A & R Joe you're trying to please, you will find a surplus of

the type of gear and good old fashioned Los Angeles know-how that makes A & R Joe drool, plus a generous helping of the temperament that enables them to capture any and all tones with glee. But if on the other hand, you're more interested in creating a work of art that is unlike any other and capturing that elusive quality that hails more from The Great Unknown than run-on binary sentences, they can do that too. Actually, that is what is what they would much *rather* do, as they are all three dedicated to exploiting their occult audio secrets for the controversial purpose of making your world more exciting.
