Landlord is an Italian electro-pop band that formed in Rimini in 2012. The four-piece group moved its first steps exploring the sounds of electronic, ambient and symphonic music, trying to combine these three different worlds in a single one. Since the very beginning the main intent of the band was to create a unique musical style, preferring studio sessions to live performances.
During the first years of their career, Landlord performed only in a very few selected occasions that allowed their unique and refined sound to shine. Among these, the concerts at Castello Matestiano in Rimini, at Turroni Theatre in Sogliano and at the well-known festival Sammaurock all contributed to create an growing interest in the band. After finishing the recording of their debut album they auditioned for the Italian X-Factor, performing in five live episodes.

The first single from their debut album, “Get By”, reached #3 in the single chart in the electronic music section on Itunes. “Aside”, their debut album , came out on March, 25th 2016 for INRI (an independent record label based in Turin); the album quickly reached the #1 spot on the electronic section on Itunes Italy, reaching as well the #5 spot of the general album chart.

During spring and summer 2016 Landlord have been constantly touring all around Italy, performing their own shows (many of them sold out) as well as in festivals alongside many
important Italian artists. They are among the Italian acts set to perform at Sziget 2016, one of the most important European festivals.
