This is a song by my friend Steve Leslie (and Darryl Worley) with a beautiful hit version done by Darryl in 2001. It was originally written around the idea of how someone handles a breakup, but I think it is a great song for surviving tough times in general. My Dad had a stroke in April of 2015. It was a really tough transition for him and I spent a good deal of time in Ardmore, Oklahoma trying to help him adjust to his new life. He has gone from independence to dependence. I want to give a big shout of support to my Dad, who has lived a good life and done great things for his wife and his sons. We must honor and support our parents as they go through things. I recorded this on my phone in June of 2015 in my Dad's back yard with plenty of 'commentary' and singalong from the dog next door...
