Daze Rich is an American Hip-Hop artist from Flint, MI currently residing in West Los Angeles. A unique sound & style separates Daze Rich from the majority of other solo artists. Melodic hooks and an intense yet smooth delivery prove Rich a versatile talent not easily defined.

A long history of writing and performing, Daze Rich began recording his own music on a 4-track recorder with the help of childhood friends and musicians; Jeremy, Ethan & Dave Harris. The Harris' were a musical family & would frequently host jam band sessions led by their father; Ray "Rocky" Harris on guitar & uncle Ron Harris singing lead vocals. These early experiences would serve as a huge inspiration and catalyst for Daze's interest in music.

Daze would later meet Simeo Overall through a chance encounter that Simeo had with Daze's Mother. Overall; an extremely talented keyboardist, vocalist, producer & former member of the group Cash Flow agreed to meet with Rich. "Everything.....I mean, he pretty much brought me up to speed with everything. I had never even seen a REAL mic booth, with sound proofing before I met Simmie!! He and I made a boat load of music together....he did a lot for me, he really helped me develop as an artist and a song writer." Rich said. Overall and Rich recorded well over 50 songs and developed a lasting friendship in the few years they worked together. Overall is currently writing and producing his own album and is the owner of a recording studio in the Flint, MI area.

While in college, Rich would meet Kreative, another talent from the Flint area through mutual friends. Kreative's knack for production combined with witty rhymes and smooth delivery were a great compliment to the faster, choppy, cadence and melodic hook's Rich brings to the table. The two would later form the Hip-Hop duo; Playmakaz which released 2 underground albums in Mid-Michigan. The self-titled; Playmakaz in 2005 and then a follow up album; Outta Boundz in early 2007. Daze Rich moved to Los Angeles in 2009 & began writing again after quitting music to take a sales job and "grow up". Once the rust wore off, Rich and Kreative were back to work again and in July 2011 Daze Rich released a mixtape entitled; The Exhumation signifying his return to the music after taking 4 years off from recording or performing. Most of the songs on The Exhumation were produced by long-time friend and producer Kreative. Production also included; Ideal Beats, Sap and Rich even used Deadmau5's remix of Medina's - You and I for a different twist as the last track on the project. The majority of The Exhumation was recorded at Music City Studios in Hollywood, CA with legendary and Grammy award winning sound engineer; Richard Segal Huredia. Huredia has engineering credits for Eminem's; The Slim Shady LP & The Marshall Mathers LP along with Dr. Dre's Chronic 2001, Outkast's Bombs Over Baghdad and more.
