Writing, composing and singing is what Kim Ray knows best. This half serious half bohemian singer exposes his mind with outstanding melodies and lyrics.

" If I compose music today, it's because of THE BEATLES. As long as I remember, I can see myself lip-sync on their songs...I was about 6 years old. Even, at this age, I started a band, created a logo and to be 4 just like The Beatles, I ...convinced my brother and two friends to "jam" in the basement playing loud just like if we were in a crowded stadium!

Kim Ray got his first guitar at 12 years old. Surprisingly, he went from playing hockey to enjoying guitar. This instrument became a real part of his life.

"I started playing guitar to fulfill an empty hole created by the solitude of my teenage years when I was attending a boarding school. Some nights, I was playing in the dark gym, it created an interesting echo. I could stay there as long as I could"

Influenced by many music styles and artists, Kim Ray now focus on an intriguing version of soft-rock spiced with a country tinge.
