Next up on Dirty Dutch Digital, fast-rising duo Tony Dark Eyes & Samuel Moran unleash more of their genre-bending explorations under their P!STLRO pseudonym. “Jungle Freak” delivers a highly creative and explosive soundclash of dubstep, reggae and house that surges forward with a ferocious and uncompromising attitude.

Rolling, almost funky drums open the track, hinting at the carnival-like atmosphere that remains at play throughout. Rapid-firing drum machines and sirens then merge as the track begins to build towards the tipping point. Monumental swabs of bass swoosh in alongside huge, crunching synth lines and crazy FX to ramp up the energy to almost unbearable levels. Reggae hooks and vocals then join the party before dubstep takes over with its all-powerful crunching basslines, driving beats and pure adrenalin.
Combining such an array of styles and genres into one track is no mean feat, but to so with the personality and confidence that this pair manages on “Jungle Freak” more than hints at their massive potential.
