DESCRIPTION:
Born in Wernigerode, raised in Sprötau. His life and his first contact with music began in Thüringen. Bands such as Depeche Mode, Tocotronic or Technotronic influenced his increasing addiction to electronic music. At an early age, he already had a growing desire to go to techno parties, and to party. Djs like Sven Väth, Daz Sound, and Pierre put him under their spell. Thus the madness begun. He got himself belt driven Reloop turntables and a mixer to lay the foundation.

He has been playing at important events like Berlin's Love Parade, the Sonne Mond Sterne festival and Time Warp as well as becoming better known in Berlin's legendary Tresor Club or the Kassel Stammheim. He released his first EP at Nerven Records and in 2003 he created his own record label, Killaz Records, were he published some great albums like "Der Kanzler Kommt" or "Die Große Koalition". In 2005 he founded the sublabel Error Records and he started his label nights at Berlin Rotor Club.

During all these years, Torsten Kanzler has played at some of the most important events and clubs around the world and he changed his style to go back to the purest Techno.
