Matame

Jav & Janie gave birth to Matame in the year 2004. They were the first to introduce hardtechno to the NYC masses in America period, by inviting the following DJs, DJ Amok, Frank Kvitta, Patrick DSP, OBI, Arkus P, Viper XXL, Hardtrax vs. Jackhamma to their infamous Hard Noize events. To their surprise, the events became a global phenomenon which led them to collab on events in Holland with hardtechno.nl and in Belgium with UR Tekkno. Their successes made them into pioneers of this genre and a much anticipated label was soon to come. The very first American hardtechno label in this style came straight outta NYC, Matame Records was launched in March 2006, it showcased the hardest, darkest, illest hardtechno and combining with it the dirty sounds of hardcore & industrial which the duo were both big fans of. Then in the fall of 2006 they created a sublabel Matando. Matame came out of no where and now its one of the most seeked out labels from its very first release on it takes no prisoners.
