I was playing keys one night during the prayer time of a youth service and felt to do this old hymn by Annie Hawks, I Need Thee; but I wanted to do it a little more contemporary than how I grew up hearing it. This is what came out. Thanks to Alvin Richardson for helping me write a verse to it.
