Olga Kern , joven rusa ganadora de la Medalla de Oro del Concurso International de Piano Van Cliburn 2001 - cuyo rendimiento del Concierto para piano N º 3 de Rachmaninoff la convirtió en la primera mujer en alcanzar esta distinción en más de 30 años - hizo su debut en la ciudad de Nueva York en Carnegie Hall en Zankel mayo, 2004. Once días más tarde regresó a Nueva York para tocar en el Carnegie, esta vez en el escenario del Auditorio Isaac Stern, por invitación del Carnegie Hall.

Olga Kern, the striking young Russian Gold Medal winner of the 2001 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition - whose performance of the Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 3 made her the first woman to achieve this distinction in over 30 years - made her New York City debut in Carnegie's Zankel Hall in May, 2004. Eleven days later she returned to New York to play at Carnegie again, this time on the stage of the Isaac Stern Auditorium at the invitation of Carnegie Hall.
