ARTIST : Harp & Soul

Harp & Soul is a 4 woman band made up of musicians who play their favorite tunes together. In 2014 they were invited to play at an international conference in Berlin, followed by another international event in Barcelona in 2015. Vocalist and songwriter Aimee Blackschleger is a singer whose voice has been heard in many commercials, games and anime songs in Japan. Kari Melody has been grabbing the hearts of many, singing at live shows and events, with her exceptionally deep and soulful voice. Kaoru Arai-Colucci plays the harp - the concert grand harp as well as the Irish harp, to accompany and add color to this unique indie/pop girl-band. They released their first album "Lemongrass" in 2013.

ハープ&ソウルは2012年に結成された女性4人からなるインディー／ポップユニット。自分たちの好きな音楽を演奏したいという想いで集まり、ライブハウスやイベントなどで演奏するようになった。国際色を活かし、国際会議などのエンタテイメントを提供することも多く、2014年にはベルリン、2015年にはバルセロナでの国際会議のイベントに招待され演奏。シンガー・ソングライターのエイミー・ブラックシュレガーはCMやゲーム、アニメの挿入歌などを多く手がけてきた実力派ミュージシャン。キャリ・メロディはその並外れた深くソウルフルな歌声で、ライブやイベントでお客さんのハートを掴んできたシンガー。ハープの新井コルチ薫はグランドハープおよびアイリッシュハープを使ってこのハープ＆ソウル独特の色合いと雰囲気を作り上げている。2013年にはCD「Lemongrass」をリリース。

The title song of their first Album, "Lemongrass" is a short, sweet piece with a little Celtic folk feel. Written by Kaoru Arai-Colucci. Followed by "Don't Go", another song in the album and one of the band's favorites, written by Aimee Blackschleger.

ファースト・アルバムのタイトル・ソングでもあるこの曲は、ケルトのフォークソングのようなのどかさと温かさをもった優しい曲。作詞・作曲は新井コルチ薫。今回は同じアルバムに収録されている「Don't Go」とのメドレー。後者は作詞・作曲エイミー・ブラックシュレガー。
