A short story film set in the 1960's through to the 1990's based on true events about a young woman who is left to raise her children after the death of her husband. With no father figure to help discipline the children they soon become troublesome within the community to the point that they are taken into the care of the Department of Social Welfare as state wards.

The story follows one of three brothers (Harry) who after being taken from school by Social Welfare is placed into one of many foster homes. Because of the abuse at the hands of his foster parents Harry starts running away with the hope of re-uniting with his mum and brothers. While on the run he leads a life of crime to survive however, this only leads to Harry being placed in a boy's home as he reaches his teens he ends up in Borstal and then onto prison.

It is at these institutions that Harry found the love, understanding and a sense of belonging to from others that had undergone what he had been through although some were gang members they treated him like the family he had lost in his earlier years, Harry became a gang member.

An adult Harry is blessed with a son (Harry jr) who goes through the same cycle as his dad growing up in the same sort of environment he becomes a Product of Society.
1990's Harry jr has grown he goes out to seek employment and is turned down because his dad is connected to a gang making him gang affiliated, Harry jnr starts leading a life of crime to survive in the late 1990's

Harry jnr ends up where his dad was as a teenager in prison, with his fellow inmates they try to think of a way to break the cycle so that their children do not end up in prison as they themselves Harry jnr and his dad had. It is while doing their daily prison chores that they see a local hip hop artist performing on television, they decide that music would be a way to express themselves, tell their story and break the cycle that has been in Harry jnr's family for two generations.

After being released from prison they form a music group (Recommended Dosage). Through their music they talk about life and how the past has affected them, they form their own record label, get their studio together and start carving a positive lane for their children to look up to and be proud of what they have created. "Product of Society"
