The words restoration, healing, and mending of broken hearts come to mind when you experience the ministry of the one, Minister Harry Thompson. He simply evokes the presence of God with the grace that expresses the mission of every servant of God. "To bridge the gap between the lost and dying generation back into the hands of Divinity is my heart's desire. The world must know about the Lord Jesus Christ and the love that He has for all humanity."



Elder Harry Thompson is a dynamic minister of the Gospel with a profound appeal to the masses. His spirit of "quiet" strength and compassion resound through his music in a powerful yet embraceable way.



Harry, a native of Brooklyn, New York was born to worship. His love and passion is to mentor a collegiate of worshippers which range from the laity to ministers of praise and worship. At the tender age of 3, Elder Harry understood his calling which superseded his environment and expected outcome of many young black male statistics bound to be a man of distinction and influence. He is such an example of righteousness and whole hearted adoration for Jesus Christ, Elder Thompson is the proud father of Harry Thompson IV. He is a tremendous role model to both the young and old alike.



Elder Thompson gleaned much with the collaborative efforts from the group "Arise" based out of the Church of God. Shortly after, the Lord called Minister Thompson to begin his solo ministry. In 2002, Harry Thompson formed the worldwide outreach ministry of "Divine Favor." This group is compiled of a wonderful array of skilled and anointed background singers along with a full band.



This great man of God has touched the lives of many people with his message of love, deliverance and restoration. It is a most profound and thought provoking word. Although this heartfelt ministry is melodically soothing, the anointing is undeniable. Certainly, Harry possesses a unique way of transcending time, space and personal meaning He has blessed a wide scope of arenas which include the United States, Canada and abroad. Elder Thompson, along with Divine Favor has been blessed to participate in the worship experience of the Church of God's "Winterfest" in both Rochester as well as Cincinnati, Ohio.



Elder Harry has brought praise and worship into an entirely new dimension. His passion and sincerity touch the heart and reach the inner part of your soul. In his debut project, "Heaven Sent" songs, WORSHIP THROUGH ME, HOLD ON, BREATH and VICTORY offer an encouraging and inspiring setting for personal praise and worship.



His sophomore project hits like an arrow from the throne room of God straight tot he heart. Very appropriately named is Elder Thompson's cd project entitled, "Straight from the Heart." It is just that. This newly released masterpiece has been approved and kissed by God Himself. Song HERE I AM transcends ethnic and religious boundaries with the theme of glorious worship. WAIT ON JESUS provides the "spice" of our colorful dedication to God. Who says praise needs to be boring? The highly anticipated and hailed STAY ON YOUR KNEES aka "WHY" poses the often asked question of both theologians and human kind, "Why must it be this way?" The very worshipful, "IN YOUR PRESENCE sets the tone for an intimate exchange between God the Father and His precious children.



These songs rise above all boundaries to remind us that as we praise and worship the Lord Jesus and call upon His name, we are "More than Conquerors and no matter what we are going through, there is only victory when you trust in God.
