Before becoming a leading artist in Contemporary Jazz, keyboardist John Novello worked with a number of top acts including Donna Summer, Manhattan Transfer, Edgar Winter and Ramsey Lewis, as well as his own trio, Niacin. In this exclusive interview, Novello talks about recording the single "Crush" from his latest release "Ivory Soul," and shares insights about his move from the organ to the piano and how he writes and arranges new material.
