To incoming first-years at San Jose State University:
This is Joe West Hall (a.k.a. The Waffle Building)! Built in 1967, it's been an amazing home-away-from-home for me.
At SJSU, there are three freshman housing options:
1. The "Classics" (includes Joe West and The Bricks [Washburn]).
2. Campus Village C (or CVC).
3. Campus Village 2 (or CV2).
I chose Joe West on a whim and loved my first year in the building. If you're afraid that you won't enjoy your choice of housing, just remember that your experience is ultimately what you make of it. Show pride in your hall and get involved with your Hall Government.

Joe West Hall Government 2015-2016 has done great things for their residence hall. From Peterans' Day to Waffle Wednesday, this group has programmed exciting events for Joe West Hall to enjoy.
