I could write a book on what being in this ensemble has meant to me over the past four years, but at the same time I have no words to express how I feel about this amazing group of musicians. This is the second time this year I've been given an introductory solo to a beautiful song and I was honoured to play it with the ensemble at my final Rootabaga. Being a post-bacc was at times even more stressful and overwhelming than any point during my college career--but the jazz ensemble ultimately made my extra year worth it. Thank you guys so much. I'm so proud of everyone in the band, I'm so excited to see our new members grow, and I hope you guys like this tune as much as I do.
