Tracey Edwards

Fox 4 - The Morning Blend

"This artist’s music paints lucid pictures of human nature for her audience. Songs like “We Can Be” manage to captivate the most minimal details and get to the bottom of things by singing personal, delicate, and expansive music. Conrads joins enthusiasm with a keen sense of phrasing which is something essential for a vocalist…something she calls genuine. " .

"her two passions, words and music, would fuse together years later and make her one of the most sincere and influential songwriters today."

Yohanna de la Torre

Gulf Coast Time Magazine

“Terry Lynn Conrad shows a tremendous innate understanding of the essence of compelling song writing. From her heart and mind, lyrics and melodies flow that evoke the most warmly remembered sensibilities of modern American folk. Her songs are finely crafted but have a raw quality that is delivered with intelligence and captivating emotion “

“The Sweetest Thing” Juice Newton

“Don’t You” The Forester Sisters

“What Can I Do With My Heart” Juice Newton

“Sweet Sweet Smile” The Carpenter

“Show a Little Mercy” sounds like a timeless classic and "Silent Treatment" is infectious and reminiscent of Michelle Shocked at her best.”

"Music is your experience, thoughts and wisdom, if you don't live it, it can't come out your horn." - Charlie Parker So then, if Charlie's right, and I believe he is, then my music and poetry are my bio. I hope you'll take the time to read and listen, experience my art and you'll know me better than any history or list of stats would ever tell you about me. Art liberated me, for that very reason, I am a passionate arts advocate, and I do my best to encourage others to find and develop their artistic voice. I founded an ORIGINAL arts night in Fort Myers Florida, called BE HEARD something we all feel a need for these days.

As well I work closely with a non-profit in Key West called Project Lighthouse. It's an art therapy based day shelter for at risk traveling youth (under 21). I consider knowing these kids a real honor and privelage. Being a non-profit we are always in needf additional support, supplies, etc. so if you want to get involved PLEASE let me know. It's rewarding work and I'm grateful to the director Jai Somers for giving me this opportunity. I owe a great thanks to creative friends who mentored me and helped me grow as a person and as an artist so I do my best to continue the process and give back where I can. There's nothing like finding that place where you can BOLDLY share your personal truth, your experience, your wisdom. It's truely healing.

I'm finding more every day, when I give passionately from my heart, my life becomes so much more than I ever imagined it could be. I don't have to work my fingers to the bone waiting for riches in some far off tomorrow. When I boldly share my life honestly I am rich beyond measure, in the here and NOW MUCH LOVE!! my friends! MUCH LOVE!!

About you: Regarding people I ask to be my friends, to quote C.S. Lewis "Eros will have naked bodies; Friendship naked personalities." ie I LOVE REAL PEOPLE -- naked both, spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually. if I ask you to be my friend its because your naked :D in the all the best ways!RE: YOUR COMMENTS - thanks so much for leaving them, please keep graphics a reasonable size. I will delete duplicates and any oversized graphics, sorry. Oh and I have young kids that are friends so PLEASE be RESPONSIBLE ADULTS, be a GOOD INFLUENCE - No bad language or racy photos I'll delete them, and if they persist you as well. I deeply appreciate the LOVE and support of my friends, and will return the same!

My grandaddy once told me "If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything"

SoI stand up for the the poor, the hungry, the homeless, the helpless, and the planet. I stand for courageous artists who know that art has a responsibility to reveal and heal. I stand against greed and injustice.
