lots of acoustic guitar surround the vocal in this melancholy ballad of mine. The home movie of the northern English seaside resort Spanish City in Whitley Bay seems to fit the mood pretty well.

i actually wrote the original melody for this song around ten years ago. I re-wrote the lyrics in 2009 and decided to record it this year. Neil and I have decided to give it the counry rock treatment. Some of the vocal lines are not pitch perfect but I decided not to re-do these as I was happy with the natural feel of the originals. The 12 strings are working well in the chorus.I think the home movie footage of the 1960's British seaside town perfectly matches the melancholy feel of the track
