Tony Moore is known for laying down the pocket grooves and improvising brilliantly for a wide variety of artists including Bobby Caldwell, George Benson, Jeff Lorber, Gerald Albright, Randy Crawford, Robben Ford, Diane Schuur, The Isley Brothers, Kenny Lattimore, Wayne Henderson & The Jazz Crusaders, Johnny ”Guitar” Watson, Shirley Caesar and Peabo Bryson to name a few.

Yamaha Drums Artist since 1999, Tony sent us this little message for our 50 Year Anniversary of bulding drums. In 2017, Yamaha Drums celebrates 50 years of drum craftsmanship and innovation. Since the release of our inaugural D20 and D30 kits in 1967, we have consistently utilized unique concepts and technologies suited to each era and musical genre. Inspired by a desire to be the first choice of musicians, we are proud to have created classic kits that have supported so many of them in their musical endeavors over the decades. As we look ahead to the next 50 years, we will continue with our tradition to pursue sound and performance perfection, designing and creating the next generation of instruments for musicians around the world.
