I was asked to sing at an event about menopause. The committee had some ideas for songs, but I thought, "Hey, I'm a songwriter. I need to write one!" I had a hysterectomy at a young age, so I was thrown into what they call "surgical menopause" overnight. I had lots of experience to draw from!
