Suicide is rising among the general population at an alarming rate, but the rate among veterans is twice that of the general population. The following organizations have been recommended by people working for veterans: American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, Fleet Reserve Association, Jewish War Veterans of the United States of America, and Vietnam Veterans of America. The hypocrites in Congress won't do much about it, so it's up to us.
